Quick Fixes
- Refresh the page you’re scanning (YouTube often caches content).
- Click the TrueSight icon once to trigger a manual scan.
- Open chrome://extensions , toggle TrueSight off and on.
- Make sure you’re on the latest version of Chrome.
- Disable other extensions temporarily to check for conflicts.
FAQs
What happens after 20 free scans?
You’ll be prompted to enter a license key. Licensed users get up to 1,000 scans per license.
Where is my license key?
After purchase on Gumroad, the key appears on the receipt page and is emailed to you. You can also retrieve it from your Gumroad Library.
How do I enter or update my key?
Open TrueSight’s popup → Enter License → paste your key → Save. The status should show “Valid”.
Does TrueSight upload my data?
No. All analysis runs locally in your browser. See our Privacy Policy .
Icon shows “Connection error”. What now?
This usually means the license API or network is blocked. Check your connection/VPN, try again, or contact support with a timestamp and screenshot.
Can I reset my free scan counter?
Clearing browser data may reset local counters, but licensed limits are verified server-side and won’t reset this way.

- Open the page you’re scanning.
- Right‑click → Inspect → open Console .
- Reproduce the issue and copy any TrueSight‑related messages.
- Send details (URL, time, screenshots, console text) to support@exceluserform.com .
